HAGLEY CHESS CLUB
The Chess Club re-opens on Friday 5 September. We meet from 7.00 p.m. onwards each Friday evening in an upstairs room at the Hagley Free Church. Free parking is available to the rear of the premises, access being via Chapel Street.
New members are always welcome irrespective of age, gender or playing experience from Hagley and the surrounding areas.
We aim to provide a friendly atmosphere in which to play and enjoy chess, whether it is league matches against other teams, internal competitions within the club or friendly games against each other.
Experienced members are always willing to help the less able players and new members. This year we have with us an experienced Junior Chess Teaching Coach.
