EVENING WI

We are pleased to report that the past few weeks have been pleasantly busy. For our May meeting we made our move to our new venue in the Free Church Hall. This proved a successful change and we settled in to hear the W.I. resolutions for this year and afterwards to enjoy coffee, cakes and a quiz.

During the month we enjoyed two pleasant events - a visit to the Rose Theatre to see the play "Ladies Day", and joining with Rubery W.I,, for a tea party at Barnes Close, near the Waseley Hills, Looking foward to July, we have our meeting on the 16th when our speaker will be Mr, Mills - "Life of a Prison Inmate", and the following afternoon we have been kindly invited to a garden party at the home of member Jackie Peers, and our monthly lunch is at "The Wagon & Horses" on Friday 25th. We also hope to join with others of Worcester Federation at a "Summer Supper" on the 14th, and an Evesham Walk on the 30th.

If you would be interested in joining us for any of these events we would be only too delighted. My contact numbers are 882875 and 720219.
