Haybridge High School and Sixth Form will be presenting the all singing all dancing classic ‘Half a Sixpence', from Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20 March 2010 at 7:30p.m. To order tickets and join our exciting cast, please email: halfasixpence@haybridge.worcs.sch.uk or call the main school office on 01562 886213.
Two Sixth Form students matthew Hedar and Jess Sidaway have joined forces with five students from Hagley Catholic High School to increase the communal link between Hagley village, the community and the schools. The delegates have realised that currently local businesses have to telephone the schools with any comments or concerns they may have regarding students. The proposal is to visit businesses in the village on a weekly basis, where they will monitor and record all comments. However, we will also welcome positive feedback, good ideas and noteworthy praise which we can relay to our students.
our congratulations go to Daniel Allford of year 13, who achieved 89% and a gold Award in the Senior Maths Challenge.
Next year marks the 65th anniversary of the end of World War Two. In order to commemorate this important event, we would like to hear from anyone who has any memories, stories and anecdotes etc from this period. We are particularly interested in hearing about how the war affected peoples' everyday lives, especially those of women, but we would welcome any information. If you feel you can help in any way, please contact swhiley@haybridge.worcs.sch.uk or leave your contact details with our reception.
