After winning the girls and boys teams Wyre Forest and Hagley under 11s school football tournament, both teams went forward to the Worcestershire finals. We were very pleased that the boys won the Worcestershire competition and will now represent the county in the Midlands finals. Well done to our girls' team for getting so far.
Kevin Bailey, head teacher, was delighted to accept an invitation to a celebration from the Academy of Culinary Arts. Hagley Primary School is fortunate to host regular visits from Idris Caldora to encourage wider participation in cooking. The event was attended by its Patron the Prince of Wales, and the Duchess of Cornwall.
We are pleased that our office and Children's Centre extensions have started and we look forward to the work being completed n the summer.
