We have a lot of student achievements – within and outside school - to celebrate!
Lily Moore in Year 13 has been appointed as this year’s Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet(Air Cadets) for Worcestershire, the highest district honour given to a cadet.
Year 7 student Orla Dunphy donated 12 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust who provide free wigs for children who have lost their hair to conditions like cancer. Orla also raised over £600 for the Trust. Poppy Dunlop in Year 7 took 2nd place in the inaugural 4 Stones MAT Bake Off. Year 7 student Izzy Venross is part of the dance team selected to represent England at the Dance World Cup 2021. Also in Year 7, Jessica Harvey has received a glowing report from West Bromwich Albion u12’s girls team and been offered a new contract for another season.Year 10 student Sam Gascoyne has raised an incredible £7300 for Myeloma UK by undertaking 15 different challenges relating to the number 15. Year 13 students Sophie Newton, Belle Lawson & Ella Griffith were highly commended on their Level 3 Food Tech by the external moderator, who said that their work ‘was second to none’.
