Covid 19 vaccination programme continues at pace and is a national success story for the whole of the UK. Over 30 million first vaccinations have now been administered and on a local level, the roll out of vaccines from GPs, pharmacies and the Artrix site in Bromsgrove has been exceptionally well organised; I was extremely grateful to have been administered my first vaccination at the Artrix. The Secretary of State for Health has commented on the efficient way the vaccination programme has been rolled out in Worcestershire.

In March I held a virtual surgery with the Police and Crime Commissioner John Campion, one of the main topics we spoke about was issues with speeding. We must ensure that we utilise the latest technology to address this growing problem as it jeopardises the safety of all those using our roads including cyclists and pedestrians. John Campion assured me he would strongly support us.Many will have seen the recent publicity around the epidemic of fly tipping, no one issue unites us more than this. The Police, District and County Councillors are all taking this issue very seriously and we are looking at various options to stop this abhorrent practise. I would ask us all as a community to do our bit as well. If you see someone acting in a suspicious way, make a note of the vehicle registration number, a description of the individuals involved and report it via the link below. With your help we can hopefully catch and prosecute these criminals. As ever, if you have any issues or need assistance on any matter please do not hesitate to get in touch.
